All of the sudden you tube videos are asking me to sign in EDIT - BACK TO NORMAL

And won't play. I literally watched one clip in a post and the next wouldn't work. Now none of the others I try will either.

EDIT - seems to be back to normal this morning without me doing anything.

1. happens to me sometimes on embedded u tubes

usually starts working normally after a while and ....

i've been thinking it has something to do with some ads?

or an update happens

To fix it I copy the URL and then open a new browser tab or window and view the offending embedded utube vid.

After that my embedded videos play like before.

But I would call it a work around not a fix. It was a PITA.

3. If you use a VPN,

that might be the problem. I had that issue until I relocated the server I was using to a different location.

7. Not using vpn

Though I have strange internet - rural system off a tower - and I noticed some ads last night that seemed to think I was in Las Vegas.

9. Weird. I have had this issue off and on.

It was worse before I got VPN and now I seem to be able to switch it around to clear it up.

4. I usually watch as guest.

Don't seem to have problems, except with occasional buffering issues, and that usually has more to do with our internet provider than anything else.

I didn't try logging out of DU, just did the work around mentioned above.

When it pops up with "sign in or not now", I always do the "not now".

11. this was happening here on DU with embedded videos

and when I clicked the link to sign in it went to a blank "can't find that page" message right in the embed. hopefully it was a brief glitch.
