Dick's Drive-In announces details for Thursday's grand opening in Everett

EVERETT — The first Dick’s Drive-In in Everett will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday — officially kicking off four days of festivities at the burger chain’s newest location at 1629 Center Road.

The Seattle-based fast food chain, beloved by many in the Puget Sound, will serve its first burgers and fries at 10 a.m Thursday. It is Dick’s second location in Snohomish County and the 10th overall.

Highlights of Thursday’s events, which start at 9 a.m and go to 8 p.m., include four bands: the Mariner High School Marching Band from Mukilteo, the NW Junior Pipe Band from Edmonds, the Kamiak High School Jazz Band from Mukilteo and the Jackson High School Drum Line from Mill Creek.

Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin, Everett City Council member Paula Rhyne, Snohomish County Council member Megan Dunn, and members of the Everett Police Department are some of the dignitaries expected to be in attendance.
