Dallas County just got bluer - and it's because of you.

From the "Weekly Roundup" email by the Dallas Democrats:
This election, we had the opportunity to not only defend our home turf, but to go on the offense. From Carrollton to Rowlett to Dallas, we faced extremists trying to drag our County back—but you stood up and you fought back.

For the first time ever, the Dallas County Democratic Party played a pivotal role in local elections, hitting the doors as early as March, empowering candidates with training and volunteer power, and issuing a candidate scorecard to show voters which candidates stood strong for our Democratic values.

And it worked.

Over forty of the candidates who received high scores from the Dallas County Democratic Party's Local Elections Committee won, defending critical seats and expanding our Democratic majority in Dallas County.

Among them are:
🔹 Ileana Garza-Rojas – CFB ISD At-Large
🔹 Jacquetta Haygood – Cedar Hill ISD Pl. 1
🔹 Alejandra Arriaga – Cockrell Hill CC Pl. 3
🔹 Robert Arredondo – Cockrell Hill CC Pl. 4
🔹 Carma Morgan – Cedar Hill ISD Pl. 2
🔹 Chad West – Dallas CC D1
🔹 Jesse Moreno – Dallas CC D2
🔹 Zarin Gracey – Dallas CC D3
🔹 Maxie Johnson – Dallas CC D4
🔹 Jaime Resendez – Dallas CC D5
🔹 Laura Cadena – Dallas CC D6
🔹 Adam Bazaldua – Dallas CC D7
🔹 Paula Blackmon – Dallas CC D9
🔹 Gay Donnell Willis – Dallas CC D13
🔹 Paul Ridley – Dallas CC D14
🔹 Prisma Garcia – Dallas ISD D4
🔹 Byron Sanders – Dallas ISD D5
🔹 Ben Mackey – Dallas ISD D7
🔹 Rachel Proctor – DeSoto Mayor
🔹 Elizabeth Villafranca – Farmers Branch CC D4
🔹 Ed Moore – Garland CC D3
🔹 Linda Griffin – Garland ISD Pl. 3
🔹 Larry Glick – Garland ISD Pl. 1
🔹 Amber Moffitt – Grand Prairie ISD Pl. 7
🔹 Jacquin Headen – Grand Prairie CC D2
🔹 Mitchell Cheatham – Lancaster CC D5
🔹 Teia Collier – Mesquite ISD Pl. 1
🔹 Amir Omar – Richardson Mayor
🔹 Dan Barrios – Richardson CC Pl. 3
🔹 Arefin Shamsul – Richardson CC Pl. 6
🔹 Vanessa Pacheco – Richardson ISD Pl. 2
🔹 Rachel McGowan – Richardson ISD Pl. 5
🔹 John P. Bowers III “Trey” – Rowlett CC Pl. 6

We didn’t just show up. We flipped seats they said we couldn’t touch, propelling John P. Bowers III to victory in Rowlett, and pushing Vanessa Pacheco over the finish line in Richardson. You hustled. You blockwalked in the heat, you hit the phones, you wrote postcards until your fingers cramped, and you would not quit.

You showed the country that progress doesn’t start in Washington, it starts right here, in our own backyards. So take a moment. Celebrate what we’ve accomplished. And then get back out there; because this is just the beginning
