City of Killeen announces Election Day, post-Election plans

KILLEEN, Texas (FOX 44) – Early Voting for the City of Killeen’s general election will begin Tuesday, April 22, with Election Day being on Saturday, May 3.

The city says four district seats are on their respective ballot, and one of the four is unopposed. Only voters who live in each district can vote for that district’s representative.

For a list of candidates, polling locations, sample ballots, notices, an interactive district map and other election items, you can visit www.KilleenTexas.gov/Election. Residents are encouraged to use the district map to confirm in which district they reside.

Early Voting for the City of Killeen general election is scheduled until Friday, April 25 and again on April 28-29. Early Voting times will be held 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day and from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on April 22 and April 29. Voters can use any of the following Early Voting locations to cast ballots for any district:

Killeen City Hall (101 North College Street)
Jackson Professional Learning Center (902 Rev. R A Abercrombie Drive)
Lions Club Park Senior Center (1700-B, East Stan Schlueter Loop)
