the National Forest yesterday. We’re over there hiking 3-4 times per week. Areas that should be swampy are as dry as a bone. Lots of boardwalks to walk on, but you don’t need them. No appreciable rain in sight for the next 10 days.

I always think about the poore animals who have NO idea why things are so fuckin all over the place! It's going to be so much time for that nature to recover...

I'm still seeing the burn scar from the Caldor Fire here in Tahoe every day...hell, the Angora fire was almost 20 years ago and it's never going to be the same...

Prayers for the fiefirghters, and those living close to the line...

Let them burn to ash. No more sympathy. They want to bring harm to me and mine so I have no room for pity or remorse.

Should I be flooded or are you sure it should burn to ash?

But I'm tired of being nuanced. I just don't care about red states anymore. Don't care if it's South Carolina or Michigan or Idaho, they can just burn. They caused this problem by voting for that idiot. They caused this problem by not voting. They destroyed this country because they believed a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist would be better than a black woman as president.
I'm out of sympathy. They did it to themselves.
