Lane County urges voter registration ahead of May 2025 special election

LANE COUNTY, Ore. — With Election Day approaching, the Lane County Elections Office is urging residents to register to vote or update their voter registration to ensure they are ready for the May 20, 2025, Special Election.

“We want all people who are eligible to vote ready to participate in the May election,” said Acting County Clerk Lorren Blythe. “So, it’s really important to get registered by the April 29 deadline. For voters who are already registered it’s still a good idea to double-check your registration and correct any errors ahead of time – that helps us make sure the voting process goes as smoothly as possible for voters.”

The deadline for registration or changes is Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Voter registration forms must be received by 5:00 p.m. at the Election Office, located at 275 W 10th Ave., Eugene, if delivered in person. Mailed forms must be postmarked by April 29, 2025. Online registration via oregonvotes.gov must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on the same day.
