Another Earthquake In North Jersey? Residents Report Major Shakes 1/24/25

Residents across North Jersey say they felt an earthquake Friday afternoon, Jan. 24.

It happened sometime after 1 p.m.

The USGS had not confirmed a quake as of 1:15 p.m.

This is a developing story. Check back for more.

Also people are reporting on social media that they felt the effects in New Milford, Ringwood, Ridgewood, Glen Rock, felt and heard in Westwood.

They said people felt it within a 5 mile radius.
I live about 16 miles away.
