City of Flint issues reminder on upcoming 3rd ward primary election
FLINT, Mich. - The City of Flint issued a reminder for voters to participate in an upcoming primary election.
The primary, which is occurring on May 6 is for the 3rd ward city council seat which has been left empty.
Since the current city council board was elected in November 2021, before the district boundaries were redrawn in 2022, only people who live in the original or "old" 3rd ward district are eligible to vote.
Eligible households have been sent absent voter ballots or applications to receive a absentee ballot.
