Daemicke, Clifford win re-election in Palos Heights
The results of Palos Heights’ municipal election are in, and the community has spoken. Incumbent Treasurer James Daemicke secured another term, and Alderman Jack Clifford was re-elected to serve another four years in the 2nd Ward.
Daemicke expressed his satisfaction with the results of his second straight victory over George Popelka.
“I’m very happy with the results,” Daemicke said, clearly proud of the continued trust placed in him by voters. “I’m honored to serve the city of Palos Heights, and I’m looking forward to continuing our work.”
Daemicke also highlighted the financial foundation the city has established under his stewardship. “We have a very strong financial base going into the future, and a lot of that is due to the leadership of Mayor Straz,” he said. “I’m excited to continue serving the residents and keeping Palos Heights financially secure.”
