Treutlen County to only have one election day polling place for PSC run-off, county says

SOPERTON, Ga. — Ahead of the upcoming Democratic Public Service Commission District 3 run-off, the Treutlen County Board of Elections says they've opted to run only one election day polling location for the race, scheduled for July 15.

The Public Service Commission regulates utilities in Georgia, including Georgia Power, and plays a role in setting utility rates for Georgia residents.

For the election, the county board of elections says the only polling place will be located at the Treutlen County Library at 585 Second Street in Soperton.

They say that voters wishing to cast their ballot in the run-off on the July 15 election day will have to vote at the library; no other polling places will be open on election day.
