Finally with just a little rain

Garden life returns, and so does the daily crawl. In one section next to a patio, about 100sq ft, pineapple sage, peppermint and spearmint have finally taken over as ground cover displacing the weeds. Within that area, lorded over by a Brown Turkey Fig & Yucca aloifolia, or Spanish Bayonet cluster, are blackberry, jalapeno, red savina habanero, pineapple, and border of Garlic Chives/Chinese Leek and Rosemary. Nearby, other lilies bloom.

the plants are about three years old and this is the first year they have really produced, about three quarts so far. I notice they are also spreading rather quickly, so next year might be even better

I love everything but the mint for which I have allergies.

The berry pics are fantastic!

And it's a pain but I have survived so far!

Keeps me from participating in community gardens, though.

I'm always surprised that after a hard freeze everything seems to come back stronger than before
