Visit to the carillon at U.C. Berkeley.

This one.

And just in time for a concert. Take the elevator. It's LOUD up there.

The smallest bell weighs 19 pounds. The largest weighs 10,500 pounds.

This one. And friends.

And here's the keyboard artist.

Video at Vimeo.

iPhone SE3. It was a brunch trip, not a photo trip.

I worked right across from the Carillon. Friday Noon concerts! And Saturday, as I just discovered recently, never having worked Saturdays!

On a previous visit, I had the Coolpix P510 with me. It was a clear day and I got great photos of the Bay.

It would be nice to return to the Bay. Just takes lots of money. Like Sam.

Just a bit more ...

My husband's father taught at Berkeley, and he knew the Carillon very well. It's quite famous; rather like the symbol for the whole university.

Thanks for sharing!
