Friday's Horses and Around The Farm

Today we look at horses and riders from our old farm, on the obstacle course and around the barn. No text.

Around The Farm ~ In And Outside The Barn
Future tack room.

Looking back out to the main aisle.

Tools of a gal's trade.

Photo-shoot-supervisor, slurping. Nothin' like a mud puddle
to quench one's thirst . . .

The barn is now electrified.

Laurie's been adding dirt to build up stall bottoms.

Flooring will consist of mats, like these.

Dinner time for two "starving" horsies.
Laurie packs each bale into a hay net, which acts as a slow feeder, making
horses take smaller bites. Prevents overeating.

Hay nets are supposed to be better for horses, though Pete and Maddie
might disagree.

Thank You for stopping by. See you later.

2. Yes indeed Easterncedar. We took lots of horses' pictures, with and without riders at the old farm.

Electricity in the barn, Yay!

I had to laugh at Shadow slurping from a mud puddle. I’ve seen Sophie do that, too. Dogs ……

8. I read Laurie your reply, Lois. She smiled. But I'm sure there are things she can't do.

Thing is, she's good at applying knowledge and experience to make things come together. Laurie's learned skills over the years not common to many women and certainly not to me. She is handy that way. Thank You.
