Shadow used to love to bark at the horses at the old farm. She welcomed Maddie to this farm in the same fashion.

Looks, I have heard, can be deceiving. I appreciate your comment on a beautiful life. In many ways, most of them in fact, it is. We are, however situated about a half-mile from major in-state highway. We hear commuters mornings and afternoons. During these summer nights, modern-day "gear heads" race around engine sounds from their cars and motorcycles echoing off the pines.
Nevertheless, we love living here. That half-mile means five minutes, or less, to town. Most convenient. Plus we are but fifteen minutes away from our daughter, a half-hour from our son. And especially close to medical care in the nearby city of Spokane.
What we do have is a necessary compromise that's turning out to be just what we needed. Thank You!
