8. Why are we so touched by sunrise, sunset, mountain, waterfall?

I subscribe to no religion, but I think we have a spiritual connection to Earth and find beauty in it, because we are of it.

9. Good Question Martin Eden. I think, because of spiritual people like Henry David Thoreau who said

"Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads". And John Muir — "Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."
And due to those who listen in their hearts and answer, not to the call of greed and money, but to the famine of the soul.
