I subscribe to no religion, but I think we have a spiritual connection to Earth and find beauty in it, because we are of it.

"Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads". And John Muir "Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."
