We met the bride in Cupertino in a French class. She was an au pair. She is from Germany and we have now known her and her family for more than 10 years. Her and my wife both got jobs in Munich in 2015. Strange coincidence. We've become the crazy American aunt and uncle. This past weekend they had the formal wedding that was to makeup for the basic wedding during covid. Right after the ceremony the sun came out. Then the couple had to do their first work together. They are now a team. This is a German tradition that they get to cut a log. This was a green log and the dullest saw I have ever seen. Next they cut out a lighthouse on a sheet with cuticle scissors. Fun stuff.

When I take pictures at weddings and the like, I do a quick cull and send them everything else.
Thanks for the compliment.
