Fresh from the flowerbed

The flowers have been taking a beating during recent rains; I brought some indoors, along with ferns and lilac branches, to enjoy while they still have petals.

Just seconds before seeing your title, I thought, Isn't anyone going to mention the cat? The salt shaker was my paternal grandmother's and has been featured in several other photos I've posted here.
