Related: About this forumTonight's Crescent Moon: Three views
A conventional view of tonight's crescent moon. I cropped and made some minimal lighting adjustments to the original RAW image.
Experimental view #1. Earthshine, the glow caused by sunlight reflected off the earth on the darker portion of a crescent moon, is featured here. I used the stock Apple photo app for the special effects, not Photoshop or similar software. The stars are as they appear in the original RAW image.
Experimental view #2. Stock Apple photo app used for effects.
