Cadiz Dunes

Cadiz Dunes, San Bernardino County, California. That little blue blep over the dunes right of center is a bit of the Calumet Mtns, if I'm not mistaken. I doubt if this place gets even one visitor a day. Maybe on the weekends, or during spring break. I've spent a couple of spring breaks here. The Mojave is lovely in March. Once, some BLM folks showed up with newspaper reporters, and the missus and I were interviewed and photographed.

But if I was in the area, it's someplace that I would certainly visit.

...blowing along the ground. The road out there is awful though.
