You might catch the aurora, there was a major flare late this afternoon. I'm sure the clouds will be glowing here.

(154,857 posts)I'm really glad you like my photo! It just worked out that today is January 1st; I hadn't planned to take any photos today.
But I had time, and the moon was right there, waiting for me!
The very slender shape made it very challenging to capture; I was thrilled that this one exposure worked out.
