(5,133 posts)California, you clearly have unnatural desires when it comes to flora. I can put you in touch with a fine therapist who specializes in cases such as yours, which most therapists refuse to acknowledge the existence of, much less treat. You know how to get in touch. Please. Before it's too late and DU has to raise bail money.
Breath-taking and sexy as hell. The colors make me drool. Literally--like a mastiff.

(155,721 posts)Maybe you're the one who needs a therapist? Hmmm?
Thanks for your hilarious reply! So glad you enjoyed my obsession with vegetables!

Very, very, nice, Peggy.

(155,721 posts)I believe that nasturtiums are edible, but since I've never had one, I don't really know!
Thanks for your kind words.

(128,500 posts)Seriously, though, all the images are absolutely gorgeous, and I thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us.
I still must live vicariously through your amazing photos, even though our market opened this past weekend. Little local produce yet, as our growing season has barely started.

(155,721 posts)I would have posted them earlier, but my day had other ideas.
You know how I am about sharing. It makes me so happy than I can produce something so beautiful that you love to see it, every week.

(6,819 posts)What are the squashes that look like round zucchini?
CaliforniaPeggy
(155,721 posts)I have a million photos of the raspberries and still every week, I need more! Always trying to improve what I see.
That's exactly what those little round squashes are: round zuccini. I think they must be a variant on the standard ones, though I'm not sure.

(155,721 posts)California has its faults, and I mean besides the San Andreas fault! Still, it's a great place to live, work in and play!
And thank you for liking my pics!
