I ordered a Cordorba Mini II Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar, looking forward to getting and playing it...

I have an Ibanez Mikro Electric Bass, a cheap Hadean Solid Body Ubass and an Ibanez AGBE30E AE Bass and have wanted one of these small acoustic basses for a while. This one gets generally good reviews and will be used at home for couch playing and maybe at a local jam group. I'd like to find a gig bag for it but can't figure out the right size it needs...I have a gig bag for my 4 string acoustic baritone ukulele that might fit...I'll get something...any comments or suggestions are appreciated...

He has at least 8 of the things. We bought him a Fender bass for Christmas when he was in 8th grade. The store told us he would be happy with it for years. But he is 39 now and is always happy to find a new must have.

First, I don’t believe in gig bags. If you can scrape up enough money to buy or make a hard shell case that is always preferable to protect the instrument.

I’m a classical player and my knowledge of Cordorba is limited to those instruments. The lower class of guitars C-3, C-5, C-7 are okay as student instruments. Upper range instruments like the C-10 and C-12 are quality instruments on par or superior to instruments in their class.

My next instrument will also be a Cordorba as I’m looking at their Fusion models. I’ll be selling Martins to buy one - that’s how highly I think of them.

I’ll expect a full review of your new bass when it arrives.

P.S. James Jamerson on Burnadette still knocks me out!

I'm always very careful in transporting my instruments and don't fly or take other public transportation...I'm an old guy and play mostly for myself...Selling Martins, hmmm...The only Martin Guitar I ever owned was a Little Martin HPL X model...it was ok but I sold it at some point...If anything I could likely fit the little Gator Gig Bag inside of a full size hardshell guitar case I own so there's that...

It has become my go to guitar for playing around my house. Very small and light, easy to play and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build for the dollars spent on it.

I have a 5 string Fender Jazz as my one & only bass.
I have 15 guitars, but only 1 bass.
What color Ibanez mini do you have? I saw one that looked just like my Satriani model Ibanez. I think the body shape of the mini is based on the JS guitars. Mine is transparent red.
It's my clear #1 electric, though I have 6 others.
Funny story: being an Ibanez fan since the 70s, I thought I'd check out their factory in Nagoya. So. I got off the bullet train to Kobe. Rented a car, drove to the HQ. There is no factory!
Later, I found out that Ibanez has never had a manufacturing site. They have always used contract manufacturing. They deign, someone builds, they market them.
I spent 3 hours looking for a factory that doesn't exist!

My original Strat was a metallic ice blue with a chrome pickguard for a whole.
It was the only blue guitar I ever had.
I later changed the neck, the vibrato (Kahler), the pickups, and had it painted in Mercedes silver with a black anodized pickguard. It's barely an actual Fender anymore. It's been like that since 1985.
My Jazz bass is metallic wine red.
Counting the bass, I've got 3 instruments in red.
