Tough to listen to now in today’s world and having 3 daughters.

Jim Petrick also wrote Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger (Rocky 2 or 3 theme).

Being from NE Ohio and our former U.S. Rep was Jim Traficant, he always played Eye of the Tiger at his speeches and rallies.

She met him at a HS school dance where Jim's band was playing.
He was, I think, a senior in HS at the time.
My wife hit it off with his then girlfriend, so my wife & her friends used to follow the band around.
They lost contact in her college years.
A decade later, I met Jim through his partner Frankie Sullivan.
Full circle.

Grew up in Evergreen Park area and Ides played at our HS often in the early 70’s. Wonder if Mrs ProfGAC and I were at any of the same dances.

Small world.

The Ides were a big enough name that they could go from town to town.
Then, she was 25 or 30 miles from the Southern Suburbs.
