hearing Gaelic is an interesting experience. Similar to something so familiar, and yet so different itself. Like if you have Spanish and suddenly wake up to the radio playing a Portuguese station.

Hand Filled - Non-Chill Filtered - Fine Oak Cask

ABV: 46% ~ Bottle size: 70cl

It has been a long journey but now from our craft distillery in the Outer Hebrides, we are proud to offer our first ten year old single malt.

As a small privately owned and run distillery we will never have thousands of bottles available at any one time and it is doubtful that you will see us on a supermarket shelf in the foreseeable future.

Everything we do in creating our unique single malt is labour intensive.

We sow and grow our own barley at Goathill Farm, Melbost, near Stornoway.

Harvest it using our own elderly combine harvester.

Malting by peat fire at the distillery, turning the grain by hand.

We even have our own peat banks.

We use our specially designed stills, based on old illicit island stills.

We even hand filter and fill every bottle by hand.

We are passionate about our whisky and our distillery and hope you enjoy savouring it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
