Three years later, Rick re-recorded it for his own solo album.
I'm very partial to Rick's version. I like his guitar work better, though I can't say that I like one vocal better than the other. They both sing it great.
In between, it shows up on the White Trash album with Rick, Johnny and Edgar.

(589 posts)I know that album and all his others by heart. I used to own all the vinyl, though they were lost in a move. He and his wife invited my friend and me into his hotel room just before he played a show that we went to in the Shaboo Inn right next door and he signed all our albums for us. We were in 8th grade at the time.

We saw him as guitarist/musical director for Cyndi Lauper on her True Colors tour.
