I read that it was an homage to Nick Drake, a very troubled singer-songwriter who took his own life. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to his music.

There was uncertainty around his death, some claiming suicide, others saying accidental overdose of Rx psych drugs he had been taking. I say this because one of his friends said something I found interesting after his death. She said she hoped it was suicide, because then he left this life on his own terms.
