Yul Brynner in "The Magnificent Seven", and maybe by extension "Westworld."

(33,836 posts)7. The Magnificent Seven is correct.
I recently watched the 2016 remake of "The Magnificent Seven" and was very disappointed.
Even Denzel Washington and Vincent D'Onofrio couldn't save that pile of crap.
Also, the original "Seven" had that great Henry Mancini theme music, which was used to sell Marlboro cigarettes on TV.

Got a pretty good look at it a few weeks ago.

Edward G. was becoming more of a character actor than a lead at that point of his career. Fred MacMurray played 1st of his 3 repellent roles, the other 2 were The Caine Mutiny and The Apartment.
