Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWierdest thing happened to me last night.
As I normally do, I went to bed, Stripped to my boxers, got into my flannel bed sheets....god, I do love my flannel sheets....and settled in for my expected sleep.
Then I got stung. At first. I thought, "wtf is this?" Like a piece of hot metal burning into my back. Then I knew...it was a friggen bee that was pissed with my sleeping decision. Probably, my 1st sting in 20+ years.
So I laid there in bed for about an hour. in the dark, thinking about that bee sting in my back, my brain refusing to shut down. Eventually, I went to bed and no lasting results in the AM.
Moral: Always check your sheets..

(1,587 posts)Stake out the bed the night before so you know what to expect. All parties benefit that way.

(56,277 posts)Must have followed someone in.
It quietly lit on my thigh and, even though I was wearing shorts, I didn't realize it was there, and i crossed my legs.
So I guess I inadvertently stung myself with a bee....

(22,231 posts)and a bee flew in and stung me on the hand while I was just standing there.
I hang my sheet outside to dry but I give them a couple minutes in the dryer to make sure there aren't any insects hiding in them.
