Fabulous. Actually we were on a lake that is part of the Dumoine River white water canoe trip.

... BIG bull moose! He's nearly as long as the width of the traffic lane! And each of those antlers must weigh around 20 pounds, at least!
We see moose around our place now and then, and they are magnificent creatures. Last year we saw a big bull trotting down the road in front of our house, and he covered the nearly 100 feet of our frontage in five or six long strides. He was easily over 6 feet at the withers.

Had one run alongside my car for a quarter mile or less. I didn't know what to do, just kept driving at pace.
