No. Grocery prices aren't getting too high, now, are they? Wowser!

I know snow crab is always expensive, but on this, the last day of its "fresh" date, the "reduced" price for 2 pounds (mostly shells, of course), is $73.27! I don't know the original price but this is in the general deli/fish section of King Soopers in Northern Colorado, which I just happened to pass by as I was looking for some salmon filets. Granted we are a land-locked state, but, really? Similar pricing would be expected at your local Krogers as King Soopers is part of Krogers. Yikes!

Luckily, I'm vegan, but still. Pfft. If I weren't, I'd be giving up shrimp.

I'm deluged with emails from one that I visit twice a year, and another that I never heard from until late December. The latter has about double the volume of closeouts (similar to the OP) now.

Last week I bought whipping cream. $2.55 a quart at ALDI. WMT was $2.93 a pint. That got my attention.

All prices believed to be accurate at that time and this time. YMMV based on location.

We buy snowcrab quite often at our local supermarket. (Local chain)
It's nowhere close to that much, but those are a little chunkier than the legs we get.
