I got junk mail today for my neighbors.

When the mailman/woman delivers your neighbor's mail to your house, and it's just junk mail, what do you do with it? Do you just throw it away, because it is, after all, only junk mail, or do you leave it with a note for your mailman/woman for him/her to deliver it to your neighbor's house, or do you walk it over to your neighbor's house and drop it in your neighbor's mailbox yourself? This happened to me today, with not ONE neighbor's mail, but TWO, and THREE pieces of mail. One of those looks like it might not be junk mail.

I'm just about to leave the house for the first time today and I'll put the mail in my neighbors' mailboxes, including the junk mail. I think I should leave it to them to decide whether it's junk mail or not.

Depends on your relationship with the neighbor. If they are cool, I would take the mail to them. Midnight Writer Apr 8 #5

Apparently if the mailman could read, you would have never gotten your neighbors mail to begin with.

Or you could call the local post office and tell them and ask them what to do. Two neighbor's mail is a pretty good error.

That's what I do. My neighbors are Trumpers and I want no contact.

Odd, the mailman thought I was a traitor. But then l noticed he had the wrong address.

If you don't want to do that, clip the mail to your box, perhaps with a note, for your carrier to pick up the nest time around. Or, you can drop it in a mailbox and let it run through the system again.

The Postal Service is jacking around service by forcing carriers to work in other towns to fill vacancies (instead of hiring). Your carrier may be setting foot in your town for the first time. Gone are the days of having a regular carrier who delivers the same route every day and knows all the people and addresses. the management position is that all employees are interchangeable and can be slotted into any position. That is a ridiculous proposition and anyone who has ever worked for a living knows it.
