Finished watching "1923" last night. NO SPOILERS

This is the second prequel to “Yellowstone”. Taylor Sheridan who also created and wrote “Lioness” and “Landman” both of which I highly recommend.

We prefer 1883 (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill) and 1923 (Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford) to Yellowstone. We’ve watched two seasons of Yellowstone but it’s so contentious and backstabbing it’s hard to really get into liking it.

1923 also features Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones) and a remarkable performance by Timothy Dalton (Bond) that goes….its quite bizarre. The prevalence of nudity literally takes a back seat to the character Dalton plays - Whitfield.

Oh and Brendon Sklenar as “Spencer” and Julia Schlaepfer as “Alexandra” absolutely light up the screen. Big break out roles for both. They travel from Africa to Montana and how they get there is quite a story.

Aminah Nieves plays “Teonna” a side story dealing with Indian Schools.

Violence nudity language pretty much you name it.
The finale was 2 hours long.
