'Concerning' moment Donald Trump 'falls asleep' at his own record-breaking July 4 firework show
Donald Trump has been accused of "falling asleep" at his own July 4 fireworks show in a "concerning and embarrassing" moment.
The 80-year-old president had repeatedly bragged about how he would be celebrating the 250th anniversary of America's independence by putting on the "largest fireworks show in history" at Washington's National Mall. The show featured a staggering 850,000 fireworks, according to Freedom 250, the White House-backed public-private group organizing the event.
But it appears that wasn't enough to keep Trump awake, with videos and photos showing the president nodding off as he watched the colossal show. In one video shared on X, the president can be seen with his eyes closed for at least 11 seconds as a woman sings Don't Stop Believin'. It comes as Donald Trump is spotted with his loyal assistant as 'fake Melania' theories grow.
At one point in the clip, his granddaughter, Kai Trump, glances over at him. "At this point it would be easier to point out where didn't he fall asleep," one X user commented.
