As the USA marks its 250th birthday, lets take a moment to ask: was Britains Mad King, George III, really so nuts?
Read the following excerpts from his 1775 address to Parliament about America, juxtaposed with Trumps comments about Iran, and answer TBRs poll question: Whos crazier?
PLUS: American Dreams, a scorching new song by the brilliant Jesse Welles. Its an instant classic you wont want to miss.
George III: The present situation of America, and my constant desire to have your advice, concurrence and assistance, on every important occasion, have determined me to call you thus early together.
Trump: I wont use the word war because they say, if you use the word war, thats maybe not a good thing to do. They dont like the word war, because youre supposed to get approval, so Ill use the word military operation, which is really what it is.
___
George III: I have ordered the proper estimates for the ensuing year to be laid before you; and I rely on your affection to me, and your resolution to maintain the just rights of this country, for such supplies as the present circumstances of our affairs require. Among the many unavoidable ill consequences of this rebellion, none affects me more sensibly than the extraordinary burthen which it must create to my faithful subjects.
Trump: I dont think about Americans financial situation. I dont think about anybody.
___
George III: I have also the satisfaction to inform you, that I have received the most friendly offers of foreign assistance; and if I shall make any treaties in consequence thereof, they shall be laid before you.
Trump: Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer need, or desire, the NATO Countries assistance WE NEVER DID!
___
George III: [T]o be a subject of Great Britain, with all its consequences, is to be the freest member of any civil society in the known world.
Trump: The way the Corrupt and Failing New York Times is covering stories on a very battered and beat up Iran, through FAKE & MADE UP FACTS is, in my opinion, TREASONOUS. I will be adding all of their false and ridiculous reporting to my multi Billion Dollar lawsuit against them. They are Criminals!

Jesse Welles singing "American Dreams"
By the way, I looked at that sloping forehead and pointy head of King George III, and I immediately thought of Roger Stone.
