As Republicans carve up Black districts, Democrats pivot to a new midterm message

(Politico) Democrats are changing their redistricting strategy — again.

Just two weeks after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries promised to invoke “maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time,” his side has been forced to shift drastically into a defensive posture thanks to a pair of court rulings that moved the House map toward the GOP.

Now, with little to no chances left to redistrict ahead of November to counter GOP gains of 10 favorable House seats or more, Democrats are stuck doing something they know all too well: blaming President Donald Trump, and hoping it will spur voters to turn out for them in the midterms.

In statements and interviews since Virginia’s Supreme Court struck down state Democrats’ new congressional map and the high court narrowed the Voting Rights Act, the party is arguing that Republicans’ aggressive moves to dismantle Black- and Hispanic-majority districts in the South will outrage voters of color and spur them to the polls in record numbers.

Voters don't need reminded of what we stand for, THEY KNOW! Independents KNOW! We need to go after the non voters and the Independents with one message. The repuke party is now the party of grift, corruption and profit for themselves not the people. We can't get caught up AGAIN with everyone under our umbrella yelling their cause is the most important. The entire point is to WIN. We can't do shit if we're all jumping up and down in a disorganized mess screaming my cause is the platform. NO IT"S NOT! The priority again is to win with the single best message that gets us there and IMO it's the damn economy AGAIN! Yes, minority rights women's rights, trans rights, voting rights, environmental rights healthcare rights, EVERYBODYS RIGHTS, we have those covered.

Damn it man, we do this all the time and this is why they beat us. They run with a 5 word message. We run with 10 page messages.
ONE MESSAGE, THE ECONOMY AND CORRUPTION!

We'll take care of EVERYONE when we win but we MUST WIN FIRST!!!!!
