Has resistance to Trump reached some kind of stand off?

https://signalpress.blogspot.com/2025/06/have-we-reached-standoff-in-resistance.html

Well, Elon Musk is gone. I'm not going to pretend to have the expertise to evaluate that particular piece of what is happening in Washington, but it seems that this is a major defeat for the Trump administration fairly early on in this term. There are still incompetent, inexperienced Trump sycophants running everything else in Washington, and it is still the worst mess our government has ever been in, at any point in its history, but one of the sycophants got kicked in the teeth by a big whallop of public pressure, so he decided to grab what government contracts and business he's gained from his three months in Washington and skedaddle.

So the public pressure worked.

Let's also take note of the fact that this is an action that did not originate, nor was it facilitated and helped out, from within the beltway. This first major defeat of Trumpism was brought about by we, the people, who have built an organizational structure outside of the approved channels of partisan politics, and acted on our disapproval of the individual's job performance, and what his job stands for, by attacking his business interests in a way that tanked sales and caused profits to evaporate.

And there wasn't anything unfair about it.

First and always, is money. All the ideological sputtering boils down to money, as shown in my favorite illustrations.

So, the richest man in the world is competing with the one who wants that title. There's one battle.
And the richest man also wants what the ancient gods wanted, having all power and wealth: mortal wives!

Second, the country's defenses are being savaged, foreign powers being replaced as the enemy, with DEI as a cover for their destruction. Why? To bring about (that is to BEG for) an attack, either foreign or domestic, using the attack as an excuse for martial law, a.k.a. dictatorship, with Putin in effective, if not elective control.

Details here.

Third is simply mass outrage, if enough people anesthetized by propaganda can see the destruction being brought on themselves. I have the least confidence in this, because their suffering will be anesthetized by joy in the suffering of others, principally immigrants.

The analogy to Hitler is stunning.
And like Hitler's Germany squeaks and some finger wagging.
A few in the media are starting to squeak.
A few in the pulpit are wagging fingers (behind their backs, so nobody can see)

Ripples on the water ain't going to do it.
A tidal wave is needed, or suitable storm.

Here's the wild card.
Ukraine is in a position to take out Putin.
Putin and Trump are joined at the hip, or parts near there.
When one goes down, the other goes down.

Ukraine may in fact liberate three countries.
