Frustrated Democrats try new response to Trump barrage: Flood the zone right back

(The Hill) Frustrated Democrats are fighting to counter President Trump’s flood-the-zone approach by adopting a mirror strategy with a simple goal: To flood the zone right back.

Democrats have struggled to keep pace with the machine-gun tempo of Trump’s second term, which has featured a blitz of boundary-busting executive orders, mass deportations, federal firings, and broader efforts to gut the federal government.

The Democrats’ response to the frenzy of executive actions has infuriated the party’s liberal base, which loudly accused Democratic leaders of failing to push back against an aggressive White House in ways that meet the urgency of the moment.

Flood the zone with a simple soundbite message repeated by all Democrats. The media will then repeat it. Look at how quickly Lawrence O'Donnell's TACO took off.

However, make it a message that attacks Trump’s intelligence or manhood. The result might be a brain aneurysm.

Fingers crossed!

Democrats have fallen way behind in the media game. NOW the are struggling to keep up because of it.

Where is our "Federalist Society"?

Where is our "Fox News"?

Where is our "Joe Rogan" or anything like that?

They have no coordinated messaging, no 24x7x365 media presence, no dedicated social media sites like Facebook or X (those are both overrun with MAGA and run by MAGA and billionaires), they refuse to go on offense, I mean....

And now they can't keep up with the firehose of shit coming from the sociopath party?

Who is surprised? I'm not. I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

Especially DNC, which seems invisible except during elections, and currently seems engaged in musical chairs.

Here's one sample

At the very least, get out the core message 24 by 7 by 365.

Why leave it to Bernie and AOC?
Because they give a damn.
