House Democrats Question Disappearance of Files From DOJ's Epstein Website

Several files have disappeared from the Department of Justice (DOJ)'s online portal where it uploaded some of the files related to the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein - including a photo of President Donald Trump. Newsweek reached out to the DOJ by submission form on Saturday morning for comment and clarification.

The Associated Press reported that 16 files have disappeared as of Saturday afternoon from the original five batches of files uploaded to the DOJ website for public review as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

However, by Saturday, some had noticed files were no longer accessible on the website - although the public had time to download the files if they wanted. Among the now missing files were images of paintings depicting nude women, but most notable was a photo of a drawer that itself contained some photos, including one of Trump alongside Epstein, Melania Trump, and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee drew attention to the missing photo, posting it on X and asking why file 468 - the one in question - had been removed from the DOJ release. "[AG Pam Bondi] Is this true? What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.

@AGPamBondi is this true? What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.

1. Don't question

The laws was willfully and flagrantly violated.

Prosecute.

2. "Prosecute."

How can they going to "prosecute" when they are in the minority in Congress and 45 OWNS the entire DOJ and its "prosecutors"?

They will have to go to the courts where the lower courts will agree but "Daddy John Roberts" will overturn those lower courts.

This is an example of "elections having consequences".

They could maybe try to find a state law that was violated and then "prosecute" that way.

3. If the SCOTUS

wants to go officially on record protecting a child rapist, then let them. Hit them with every legal tool and let them say to the public, "We [heart] child rape and will protect the rapists at all costs".

The fact that Trump is a child rapist should be treated as an actual FACT by Dems. They should refer to him only as "The First Rapist/Rapist in Chief" whenever they refer to him at all. Every minute, or every hour, of every day.

Time to fight fire with fire.

They already HAVE, time and time again. That's why his ass isn't in jail today.

"Daddy John Roberts" made sure that he would NEVER go on trial for January 6 by conferring what he claimed was "qualified immunity" but was a wink wink "universal 'immunity'", so all he has to do is claim he was doing something that was "part of his official duties", even if that is complete bullshit.

I definitely agree with "fighting fire with fire", but we need to GET some fire source first, and at this point, it may be up to the blue states (right now the only cases still "alive" with convictions and/or liabilities, ARE the NY state cases - Bragg's (which is criminal fraud) & James' (civil fraud), along with E. Jean Carroll's multiple civil cases.

5. They have granted him immunity

From his crimes while in office. Let them go on record sanctifying his crimes before he was was in office.

The fire we have is to call him “child rapist” every single day until he has an aneurysm.
