(7,039 posts)Gov Pillen is telling a lie and blaming others for his actions. Governors consider themselves responsible for the economic health of their states. They work to attract businesses to their states and retain businesses. They have staff collecting data on the workforce. If they have neat processing plants dependent upon immigrant labor they know it. If a CEO of a major business calls, they take the call.
Gov Pillen is personally responsible for the presence of immigrants working in Nebraska. He is personally responsible for how they are treated.
