First, unconscious can happen from a lot of things besides cardiac arrest.

Second, no oxygen mask means nothing,, if his O2 level was good on scene, he wouldn't have needed O2 or might have had a simple cannula, something a neighborwas too far away to spot, unless that neighbor was a medical professional.

Third, EMTs hustle into a scene, but if they've got a stable patient, conscious or not, they don't operate at a run. In fact, I've only seen them really hustle at an accident scene when someone was bleeding out and they needed to get him/her into the rig where their emergency equipment was.

Fourth, the antichrist takes care of his own, so I don't think that old buzzard will ever die.

ambulance until 9:00 and his face was covered but his feet were sticking out

If they did CPR--which has a less than 2% success rate out -of-hospital--he'd absolutely be on O2. Plus, CPR on an over-eighty-year-old would break the sternum and ribs, which would further inhibit breathing, necessitating oxygen.

Still, I mean, even if someone is feeling anxious, first responders will almost always slap O2 on at 2 liters. Even if they don't truly need oxygen, it can help the patient feel taken care of and calm them, and 2 liters isn't going to hurt anything.

But from what I have heard, McConnell has had exactly three phone call since entering the hospital. All were Sunday morning. He improved enough to be able to spend an hour on the phone but hasn't called anyone since? None of the people he called discussed his condition or when he might go home. Why haven't any of his colleagues visited him? His wife or daughter could put our photos or videos at any point if he is doing better.
