Another great post on Facebook. This time its about the people celebrating the possible passing Mitch McConnell.
SO, WORLD! I HAVE SEEN MANY THINGS IN MY LIFE AND SEEN MANY LIVES COME AND GO, BUT THERE IS ONE THING THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN MY LIFE: THE CELEBRATION OF THE DEATH OF A GOOD AND DECENT HUMAN BEING...
And people ARE celebrating the possibility - no, the likelihood - that longtime Kentucky state senator, Mitch McConnell, is dead.
Just as they celebrated the possibility that former New York City mayor, and late-in-life Donald Trump flunky, Rudolph Giuliani, was dead.
Just as MILLIONS around the world waited with excited bated breath, at the whispers that Donald Trump himself, MIGHT be dying.
As they will do the same when Russian dictator, Badmir Putin, dies.
As they will when Israeli Prime Minister and war criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu - recently dealing with hush-hush prostate cancer, is relegated to the ages.
As they will when North Korean terror, Kim Jong Un, bites the dust.
As they did when Adolf Hitler allegedly killed himself.
And when Saddam Hussein was hanged.
And when Osama Bin Laden took a Seal Team Six shot to the face.
As was done when ALL men who lived as these men did, well, died
And there is a very simple, indisputable reason, for when millions of people cheer the last breath of people who are mourned mostly by those close to them.
Who likely had no choice in the matter.
It's because they were NOT good men.
They were NOT decent human beings.
And the world became better by addition through their subtractions.
Now, when Mitch McConnell is officially pronounced gone - which could take some time because The Republican Party will still try to squeeze out some political advantage from his likely comatose and brain-dead body - I will not cheer.
Because it's not my way.
