He's trying to remain out of prison.

I just feel like it needs to be repeated every day. Forget the details: It's all the same thing: He's afraid of prison.

because they were soundly defeated and we were clearly victorious. How would you
see a similar scenario in our times? Truth to tell, most war criminals in history get away with
their crimes. In fact, the concept is a modern definition of what has happened through history.
We thought we had as a species evolved...

Maybe we will, I pray that we will, but not yet.

The investigations will decide that. If he lives long enough which I don't think he will.

He knows what he did ,he doesn't want to be caught with his pants down in front of a 13 year old...not a god look on a tape.

Tapes are facts not alternate facts either /or

Can someone or many try to convince him he will be confined in a "golden" nursery-home room if he choses to resign??

Enough spreading pain and death all over this planet!

He’s got the magical cocoon of immunity, he’s safe while in the White House, and afterwards, his lawyers could delay any court proceedings until he dies.

Unless, once Dems are back in power, they have the courage to kill the filibuster and expand the court and get the immunity ruling overturned.

Then he will die in prison.

You can do a whole lot of delaying court proceedings. He could drag it out five or more years, by which time he'd be in his late 80s - if he hadn't already passed on.

If immunity is removed, that eliminates a big chunk of the delay strategy.

Frankly, I look forward to the process of him being investigated, harassed and tormented by both congress and the prosecutors, state and federal, as much as any potential end result.

Whether he is incarcerated or not, his life is going to be filled with misery.

Even before he became president in 2016 he delayed legal proceedings for years and years. All you need is a lot of money and a willingness to never take no for an answer. Appeal one thing all the way to the top and then start over with another "issue."

Even the Supreme Court knows that, and there's no way they will give him "immunity" for crimes he committed before he was elected.

We can bet the evidence (at least some of it) is in the Epstein documents. We can also bet that Jeffrey Epstein knew about Chump's guilt and he was willing to testify. That's why he died in the nick of time.

If the Dems take back the House as most are predicting, the impeachments of Schlump and various of his minions will begin in January 2027. If we pick up a few more Senate seats as well, somebody may even be removed from office. Either way, watching the impeachment(s) unfold will be glorious.

November 3 is less than 7 months away. If the midterms don't turn out the way we're all hoping, I'll start rooting for him to die again.
