In Trump's speech this week he said "I killed General Qassem Soleimani in my first term."
He also made a bunch of terroristic threats to destroy infrastructure: "If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously. We have not hit their oil, even though that's the easiest target of all, because it would not give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding."
And of course today's expletive filled threat to blow up power plants and bridges.
Are American's really OK with the president speaking like an ISIS zealot?

(9,161 posts)Republicans sure are fine with it. They are the only ones who can solve the insanity of this man and his cabinet. We'll see in November if we have an election if Americans are ok with it.

(3,715 posts)Regarding how evil it was to be taking credit (stolen valor!) for work done by our brave military forces, ranting about how he never served, etc. The GQP congress-critters would be talking about impeachment cause the military would no longer follow his orders and all that rot.

(19,440 posts)and yet nearly 80M voted for him a third time and nearly 90M didn't bother voting.
Why that matters is: it indicates that we have a much bigger problem on our hands than -- as it may appear -- this one guy, and that the problem will not be going away when he does.
