The Pentagon is planning to deploy a brigade combat team from the Armys elite 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to support operations against Iran, according to two U.S. officials.
A written order to deploy the unit, made up of roughly 3,000 soldiers, is expected in the coming hours, the officials said.

No one seems to be talking about the new Gaza

(4,229 posts)A new border for Israel up to the Litani river. Those million people are never going back home. It's a Lebanese Nakba as well as Gaza II.
But it's for Israel's "security". What CAN it do??
I really despise the current state of the "only democracy in the Middle East" but despise the gaslighting and hypocrisy necessary to maintain it even more.

earlier today. I was checking on their mum. Thankfully shes visiting family in Syria. Big brother said their mum is accustomed to this madness.
I met her about eight years ago when she visited them and her Jamaican DILs and grandkids. The brothers have been here for 20 plus years. The younger brother said they clearly made the right decision to live in JA and not Lebanon.
I say mum, too
Will never change for me😀

Democrats will end this war and make peace with the Mullahs possibly as soon as this November.
