13. Unfortunately I can't.

I need to swap visas when I return and also my partner has cancer, so I have to get back quite quickly. It’s a cluster. I’d wanted to hop over for a quick visit earlier in the year, and my mum said it wasn’t worth the stress and worry if something were to go sideways…
At worst I can fly to Canada and then have family come get me as it’s not too far over the border.

Drove it a few times, 2 days down, 2 days back. Phewy, never again. I'll keep flying no matter how long the lines are or how high the price goes.
