(29,574 posts)because he says so many contradictory things - sometimes in the same sentence. Reminds me of when I heard Sparky Anderson speak to my brother's Little League team - he started off by saying school never meant anything to him at all and he didn't need it, and then finished up the speech with "stay in school!" (Which seemed like overkill considering they were all about ten years old at the time).

(25,416 posts)Unlike the misguided, idealistic Quixote who wanted to accomplish good deeds, Trump's self-cteated reality is a cold, cynical one out to do as much harm to as many people as possible.

(80,573 posts)Yes Trump loves the damage, injury, harm he does.
He gets off on it.

(3,627 posts)So I had to run some errands and, given the traffic, I knew it would be two hours.
Press conference started after I had been out for 15 minutes. Then he started.
I can guess what he looked like at the presser, but, I tell you -- with only the audio "batshit crazy" doesn't begin to describe what he sounded like.
I can hardly wait for Lawrence tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(3,724 posts)... and he proves it anew every goddam day. When you view the totality of his malice, deceit, and depravity over the decades, it is horrifying that he ever got anywhere near the White House. Now good and decent people are paying the price for the malevolent stupidity of a minority of the populace who either haven't the wit to comprehend what a monstrous mistake they've made, or they're just as evil as he is and are in a position to profit from his depredations.
It's time to splatter them all over the landscape. Figuratively speaking, of course.

I am seeing signs of over compartmentalization, so Fatso has lost his micromanaging grip on things. That can limit some of the damage, but it will also cause these fools to trip over each other and cause more wreckage. Future historians will have to sort outt which was worse: his intentional wreckage or the unintentional wreckage caused by his fiercely loyal but mind bgglingly incompetent staff.

(25,416 posts)Trump is only the visible face of evil that the public sees. Behind him are people just as evil who back him because he fits their own agenda.
Hitler had successors lined up who were just as evil as himself to take over after him. They would have done so if the Allies had not arrived too soon for them to even try.
There is no equivalent today of the Allies to come to the rescue, so Trump's successors will have a clear path to power.
Irish_Dem
(80,573 posts)He has a pure evil psychopath cabal behind him.
No way he is doing all of this on his own.
Yes it was so easy to take over the US and to commit the crime of the century.
No one stood in their way at all.
The other psychopaths and our enemies see a clear path to permanent power
and endless wealth.
No one will save is. We are on our own.

Well, I would almost bet that Texas will....

(7,748 posts)No, not Trump.
He has dementia and doesn't know what he is saying or doing, scrambled brain function and all that.
Sheltered care, rendered ineffective, a red phone that is not connected to anything.
Crayons, sharpies, coloring in books.
The evil comes from those who support him, the ones that led him to the White House, the ones who still believe in him.
