Katherine Keating's Lawyers Threatened Me With Legal Action Over My Epstein Reporting. Then I Found the Un-Redacted Emai

https://kaitjustice.substack.com/p/katherine-keatings-lawyers-threatened
Kait Justice

The daughter of former Australian Prime Minister appears in emails coordinating diplomatic access through Epstein. When I reported it, her lawyers sent me a letter containing false statements.

I am only excerpting the opening bits of this long and detailed report on how someone is very upset about Kait's prior reporting. If this is accurate, she's touched a very live wire.

In October 2025, I published an article about an email I found in the House Oversight Committee's Epstein document release. The email showed someone coordinating meetings with Kuwaiti royalty and relaying that schedule to Jeffrey Epstein. The subject line contained a name that appeared to have been missed during redaction: Katherine Keating, the daughter of Paul Keating, Australia's 24th Prime Minister.

I wrote about the timing of those meetings during Kuwait's largest political corruption scandal in modern history. I wrote about what it might mean if a former Prime Minister's daughter was coordinating her diplomatic schedule through Epstein's office. I asked questions about the pattern of access the documents appeared to show.

Nearly two months later, on December 12, 2025, I received an email from an Australian law firm called Giles George. The letter was marked "URGENT" and "STRICTLY PRIVATE, CONFIDENTIAL AND NOT FOR PUBLICATION."

Journalists who cover the Epstein case know what happens when you publish something that makes powerful people uncomfortable. You receive legal threats demanding you remove articles, and most of the time those threats work because independent journalists cannot afford to fight lawsuits from people with unlimited resources. The article comes down, the questions stop getting asked, and the silence continues.

have lawyers threaten an independent journalist. The Streisand effect never works out well for these arrogant people who think they are above all others.

independents that are working on aspects of the Epstein cabal, as long as they are writing with credibility, legal costs will be covered and some big name lawyers should donate their time, like Trump blackmailed so many into.

14. Katherine Keating is connected to Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell too
Sun Feb 8, 2026, 05:53 AM

Sydney Morning Herald, August 23, 2019:

Katherine was revealed as the "mystery brunette" bidding farewell to the Duke of York, Prince Andrew in 2010 outside the front door of Epstein's New York home.

While there is no suggestion she was involved in Epstein's criminal activities, why a woman, then aged in her mid-20s, was visiting the Duke of York at the home of a renowned child sex offender - who at that point had recently finished serving a 13-month prison sentence for procuring an underage girl for sex - remains unanswered.
...
Following that relationship, Keating started dating Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini, the son of the late Vogue Italia editor-and-chief Franca Sozzani. The Carrozzinis are fabulously wealthy and well-connected in their own right. Francesco is listed as Keating's co-executive producer on a glowing 2014 Huffington Post interview she did with Epstein's former lover Ghislaine Maxwell.
...
She and Keating had clearly grown close, with Keating among intimate groups invited to cocktail parties at Maxwell's New York home, by which point Keating was firmly in Epstein's personal orbit.

The "glowing" interview - "brownnosing" is more accurate:

Ghislaine Maxwell is a British philanthropist and the founder of the TerraMar Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a global community that will advocate for the world's oceans and high seas. ...

It's all like that. Talk about greenwashing. Never heard of "TerraMar"? It seems to have been a sham:

Tax documents for US organization the TerraMar Project consistently list Ghislaine Maxwell as the organization's President. The TerraMar Project's address was in New York City for Form 990 tax filings from 2012 through 2015, with later filings showing a Woburn, Massachusetts address for 2016 and 2017.[11] The New York Times reported that TerraMar gave out no money in grants between 2012 and 2017 and that it was described as having unusually high accounting and legal fees for an organization of its size.[8]

Questions were also raised about what TerraMar entailed beyond the high profile appearance by Maxwell at the United Nations and on the TED stage.[9] In 2017, an executive at a maritime firm made multiple requests for project funding to TerraMar's development director Brian Yuratsis that were ultimately denied despite Yuratsis professing interest in having TerraMar sponsor the project.[9][12][13] The maritime executive who made the requests stated that "My impression was that TerraMar as a whole was pretty hollow", and that "It seemed like Brian was the entire organization."[9]

Jeffrey Epstein claimed he gave Russians insight into Trump

Newly released emails show the late convicted sex offender’s extensive network of foreign contacts, whom he corresponded with about Trump’s policy decisions.

By KYLE CHENEY and NAHAL TOOSI
Politico, 11/12/2025

Nearly a month before President Donald Trump met Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Helsinki in 2018, Jeffrey Epstein attempted to pass a message to Russia’s top diplomat: If you want to understand Trump, talk to me.

“I think you might suggest to putin that lavrov can get insight on talking to me,” Epstein wrote in a June 24, 2018, email to Thorbjorn Jagland, a former prime minister of Norway who was leading the Council of Europe at the time of the exchange. Lavrov was an apparent reference to Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s longtime foreign minister.

In the email exchange, one of hundreds released Wednesday by congressional investigators, Epstein indicated he had previously talked about Trump with Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s forceful ambassador to the United Nations, before Churkin died in 2017.

“Churkin was great,” Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, wrote. “He understood trump after our conversations. it is not complex. he must be seen to get something its that simple.”

He represented Trump early on before he built the casinos in Atlantic City. He went on to be a casino executive himself. There is no six degrees of separation with these people. It's all very incestuous.
