During the mid-1990's I had a tour of duty at the Pentagon where I was chief of a division that had high Congressional visibility. The damn Republicans -- mainly Jesse Helms' staff -- would hold Republican-only public hearings where I had to testify. They stopped that shit when my boss and I both laid waste to their arguments.

(20,516 posts)As for Hillary, she was magnificent during the Benghazi hearings. I watchd the entire thing. She was calm, cool, collected, and took a mountain of abuse. After watching, I had enormous respect for her inner strength and personal dignity. She would have been a great President.

I don't think there is a more talented politician out there in that regard.
