Well, there you have it! Trump has spoken!

Trump says “it’s time to move on from Epstein”!

This came after Kaitlan Collins asked “should anyone be held accountable for the Epstein scandal”?

Trump just can’t stop stepping on his own words! He once said that people should be sent to jail for their own crimes with Epstein. But now he says to move on. Yep, just like is every other things that comes close to him, “move on”, “didn’t know them well”, “was a coffee boy”, “I never said that” and so many other ways to skirt the responsibility of being the guilty one!

Hey Donald, you’re up to your eyeballs in this. You and your goon buddies are going to be exposed! And I, for one, believe you should be prosecuted for this! Oh and by the way? There is nothing to stop from being prosecuted even with your so-called presidential immunity clause!

So, keep stepping on yourself and squirming about your lies! It will be the end result of your illegitimate legacy!

“Move on” means the tapes are secured, the leverage still works, and the people pulling strings signed off.

I wish someone would step forward.

why, do you think, the carefully curated "press corps" has not been purged of anyone who is not a true believer?

saying the word "epstein" may be an act of courage in that gaggle.

I only see the news if there's some special event. The press corps is a chorus and Trump is the director and he tells them what to sing and at what pitch. I used to love watching the old political shows like David Brinkley and the McLaughlin Report. It was entertaining, at least. The White House reporters are useless. Nobody has any respect for them, least of all Trump. They ought to be grilling him and that awful press secretary. Of course they're afraid for their lives. Go against Trump and his minions will start threatening you and then you have to hire security, which isn't something most people can afford. It's a mess.

It seems to me that 99% of it is bluster and dick waving that actually means nothing.

Our constant desire to react as if these people are always capable and/or willing to actually go through with it plays into their hands, I feel.

However, one must do what one feels one must do in order to keep themselves safe.

I hope the other side remembers that phrase when the time comes.

Then I guess we won't have to hear about the 2016 election...or the 2020 election...or the 2024 election.

I remember when Nixon said, "I believe the time has come to bring that investigation and the other investigations of this matter to an end. One year of Watergate is enough!"

It was his final State of the Union address. He resigned just six months later.
