Lies, violence, death - it has all been normalized

Welcome to a culmination of the electronic age - self medication through phones, videos, TV, music - comfy in our faction of belief and thoughts. I remember thinking is that we were in trouble during the various Middle East "video game" wars when we could all sit at home and watch little explosions, like video games, disconnected from the death caused by those bombs.

What happened in MN should drive people into the streets all over the country. Massive demonstrations.

It may in small pockets, but there is so much wealth comforting those who should be irate but instead are in their bubbles (elected officials). Those of us watching from afar can just change the channel.

We are at one more of those very, very low points of our species.

It’s part of the entertainment menu to keep us distracted from the disintegration of our society.

People are numb. They will retreat, avoid gatherings, reduce spending. They will seek to strengthen their own situations and safety.

A bridge has been crossed, and my sense at this moment is that it's bigger than anyone realizes right now.
